AG used to have some 4" thin, flat orange pads that were always at clearance prices. Best 4" pads I ever used. Everything LC makes is available in 3", 3.5" & 4" sizes. Griot's 3" polishers are flying out the door but nobody wants to carry a nice variety of smaller, flat pads. Go figure. TL

Might want to consider resizing your pics to around 800x600. I'd like to look over the post but I'm not inclined to scroll back n forth constantly. Doesn't fit my 28" monitor at 1920x1200... I can't imagine what it looks like on a smaller monitor at lower resolution...

It's tough to make recommendations without good detailed pictures. If the plastic is deformed minutely yet the paint is unbroken I think a traditional filler... ie, a glaze, is going to be inadequate. It doesn't sound like a good candidate for abrading as you might with a traditional light...

I haven't put a pad to the soft, black Mustang finish but I think they're both in the 'swirl when you look at 'em' camp. The best results I've gotten on Vivid Black was with Ultrafina and a light blue 3" 3M finishing pad. 85RD looks great until you wipe off the residue and put as much marring...
