I've been eyeing the new Meguiar's DA drill attachment; I think it might be more effective on a 19.2v cordless drill in a pinch.

I would be VERY leery of messing with battery cables unless you absolutely have to. Make sure if you use a charger it is an electronic "smart charger" especially if you're working on a German. It's way too easy to fry expensive components of the electrical system if you jump or charge a battery...

Doubt that would work if you have a Gamma Seal lid on your wash buckets.... the rim of the seal would interfere with the mounting screw for the dirt dropper.

I never do a wash involving bucket(s) without a Grit Guard.

Yeah, really. Even Matco/Snap-On/MAC/Cornwell are selling some stuff that is Chinese made. There are some of Craftsman's tools still made in the USA, you just have to look at what you're buying.

I doubt it's going to be THAT bad. Though I will admit I got a Sears gift card for Christmas that I made sure to use right away just in case. If they do go bankrupt I'm going to be on the lookout for clearance priced Craftsman tools and pick up anything I can get that is/was still made in USA.

That's what I've heard... the talk is that they may shutter the Sears brand altogether and only keep K-Mart open since it's more profitable.

Interesting; it must depend on the store, because I have never gotten that smell or impression in our local Sears store.
