    Living Social = Living Nightmare

If it's a hobby for the person, they have absolutely no business advertising on that kind of a grand scale.

    Lexus RX350 - Christmas Cleanup - Dec 2011

Looks good, and looks like GTechniq C4 did a great job for you too! ;) (I find it rather sad that things here would have to be so petty as to forbid you from posting part of your write-up due to the "rules" -- if you used the product, it worked well, and you think others would be interested...

Added new lighting to the garage

T12HOs won't be going anywhere any time soon... it's a totally different animal than an incandescent bulb, and the expense to retrofit would be unreasonably high for a huge number of applications. Practically every single business sign at stores, restaurants, etc. are lit by T12HO lamps still...

    Camera?

Right, but any cheap used DSLR with the ability to use full manual settings would work in that instance. If you can get really good at taking pictures with something like that, investing in better equipment later on will only make you that much better. It all depends on how much of a budget you...

    Camera?

That'll be key. You can buy the most expensive camera in the world and still take pictures that look like a $3 drug store disposable camera if you don't know how to use it effectively.

I'm not so sure about CarPro Eraser...

Hmm..... maybe we could mix some Tylenol in with Eraser to solve the problem? It does reduce swelling, after all.... :p

    Dealerership Responsible?

I think just as important as getting them to pay you for your time to correct the paintwork, I'd be demanding to know why the car was washed if they "don't do washes any more" as standard procedure. In other words, in the course of servicing the vehicle mechanically did something out of the...

I'm not so sure about CarPro Eraser...

There was a conversation on another forum about solvent use to reduce Opti-Coat for easy spray application, and Dr. G went into a bit of interesting background that could very well apply to this conversation: Given that IPA will not cause any damage, per Dr. G's commentary, I would assert that...

    Meguiars Headlight 3" Sanders

Just keep in mind you'll also need a pretty sizable compressor to run the air tools.... without that they're useless.

    New Product: CarPro Fog Fight!

Sorry Avi, but I guess I don't.... the haze/fog is water condensation (microscopic beads of water) that "spread" over the surface of the glass, right? So how does something that by definition would attract more water to the coated surface keep it from fogging? Wouldn't that change in surface...

    New Product: CarPro Fog Fight!

Don't you mean "super-hydrophobic"? As in similar to that "Never Wet" stuff that has been popping up lately in various discussions? Hydrophilic = attracts water, so it would make fogging worse.

    New Product: CarPro Fog Fight!

Exactly. I think we need Avi or someone with experience using this product to clarify. No big deal to not touch the windshield, but the side window glass sometimes inadvertently gets touched, as would the bathroom/vanity mirror if I were to coat it.

    Bought myself a Christmas gift...

Nice, Dave! I thought you already had a 3401 though...?

    New Product: CarPro Fog Fight!

Biggest thing I wonder about is durability -- the video warns not to touch the glass after application so it makes me curious if the slightest touch rubs/wears it off....

Somebody over on Autopia.org made me that old avatar right after I joined the forum back in 2002; it just sorta stuck after that.

    Solution Finish Restorer

I was thinking more along the lines of GTechniq C4, but I don't think that stuff stains paint or clothing....
