You mentioned spray paint. Did you have your paint code mixed into spray cans? Either way, from what I can see that looks like two different colors of paint.

You wont hurt anything with a DA, polishing pad, and AIO. No worries. Have at it. Just dont hang out on top of the body line while polishing. Buffing over raised body lines is more of an issue when running a DA full tilt with an aggressive compound and pad.
