    It probably will protect.... you can always do 2x EX and then top with a carnuba 2x. That was my plan originally, but decided last minute to use the new DP Sealant 2x and then top with a nuba..... Sorry, cant help you with removal... I always remove by hand (sealants and waxes)

    Welcome.... Looks like you are on your way!! The only thing I Might change is maybe use a different sealant. Its not to say the Klasse Sealant doesnt have its fans... But there are easier Sealants to apply/remove.. Namely the new DP Surface Shield Sealant. I just applied to to my car...

    Agree!!! Spent way too much this year.... But Im sure I'll spend more this christmas season and then come March/April I'll be back to washing in the driveway again!

    Winter detail...

    On my car I plan on 2 coats of DP Sealant and then a couple coats of a nuba.... Just trying to decide on which.... One one hand, NB is probably more durable than MW, BUT (and this is the nail biter!) MW is probably 10x easier to apply and remove, so another coat on a nice day will be easier...

    Welcome... Looks like you are on the right track... Im not familiar with Meguiars line, but others here will chime in im sure. Anther kit worthy of your attention is the XMT or Poorboys 7424 kit. Im not sure if you are just looking for a polish kit, or looking for a total detail solution...

    the directions on the tin say "Spray with a strong stream of water. Wheels should be cool to the touch. Apply with an applicator....... blah blah...." I tried it dry a few weeks ago..... and then re-read the container this time.... Its a serious chore to remove either way..... maybe once...
