Why do you feel you need to clay your coating? If the car was prepped correctly you shouldn’t need to do a mechanical clay as it will definitely mar the coating. Wash the car dry it, then do a heavy iron X treatment and let it dwell for 5min then rinse and the coating should be good as new.

Thats too much pressure!! Make sure you’re working in a 2x2 area and pay attention to the pad, make sure it’s not stalling. I’m guessing you need to work on arm speed first, and then try slowing down the machine to 4.

Solid work, do you think it needed the 3 step? Or could you have skipped one? The fast correcting cream is almost always just about perfect with a little bit of refining needed.

Like others have said, Reload as a LSP leaves a LOT to be desired. I personally have used it 3 times and each time regretted it. Check out Bead Maker for a better spray on sealant.

Man you’re comparing two similar but completely different machines. The G9 on paper might look similar but it doesn’t have the same power. If you’re ok with spending the money on the Rupes go that route, but only if you plan on using it at least 5 times a month.

Was the vehicle mechanically decontaminated? If not you could be spinning the trapped debris on the paint. What machine are you using? What technique? Are you moving too fast? Remember the product should be doing the majority of the work, you have to let it do it’s job.

So the standard corvette tax still applies. Something about corvettes just take so much longer than normal 2 door sports cars. Did this one have the suction cup marks like the last?
