If you are not going to coat your pony I would ABSOLUTELY use a sealant on silver. Do you have any Duragloss, Zaino or Werkstat sealants? If so, I have found that those products give silver a really nice bling

You owe it to yourself (and your ride) to give OC/OG a try. They are not as scary as the word "permanent" may imply. With that said, do a test spot with a chemical paint cleaner. Look at your pad, if it's dirty, do the whole thing.... If not, you don't need it
