I don't believe sealants deliver a plastic look. They just appear better on certain colors. Wax looks best on dark, deep colors. Sealants look best on lighter colors and metallic's. Sealants are too reflective for dark colors and waxes tend to be too "deep" (in appearance) to lighter colors...

Thanks for the feedback. I have autogeek product as old as 4-5 years old that I haven't used in awhile. some of my polishes have changed color, and I worry that some of the sealants lose their strength.

At what point has a product sat to long to be effective anymore? Sealants, waxes, polishes, etc? I hardly get to detail anymore, and I still have so much product from several years now.

I would leave machine applied Souveran for a bigger step job. Maybe wash, clay, and machine applied Souveran package. If the car needs polishing, then of course that's another step that must be charged. For $50 bucks stick with a spray wax. You could use spray Souveran or even Aquawax. Aquawax...

I love DGAW. The gloss is fanTastic. It rained for almost three days straight (wet :-( roads) and the cars still look great. I always get streaks when drying cars. That's why it's mandatory to use a qd spray too follow up. I then apply whatever booster wax or sealant I chose.

I thought "rim job" would generate some posts. Thanks for the feedback peeps. I just wanted to know what you guys thought.
