    Bird Sh*t!

Yeah I was referring to the paper towel itself. It can't be THAT bad. My car does have all sorts of other problems with the paint from the previous owner. Some of it is from not caring about bird shat to the point it's nearly clean through the paint. Shame really as it's a low mileage car...

    Bird Sh*t!

Oh, but of course. Select-a-size FTW! :dblthumb2: Bahahaha. I swear they sit and watch, and time their "excursions" accordingly. I believe I heard mother nature cackling the other week when she peed on my car RIGHT after I finished chamoising. Even worse, it only rained for 10 minutes. It was...

    Bird Sh*t!

Is there something seriously wrong with a paper towel though? The poop was still wet, there was morning dew on the car, and I had just waxed it. I couldn't fathom any major damage occurring via paper towel. Worst case, I damage the protective wax, right? Isn't that what it's there for?

    Bird Sh*t!

That was just a joke. It looked like berries but I doubt it tasted like them.

    Bird Sh*t!

Should I have used my tongue? Or better still, yours?

    Bird Sh*t!

Indeed. Do I need to rewax that area? It slid right off without any cleaners.

    Bird Sh*t!

What's QD? I wiped this particular particulate off with a paper towel since it was still wet. Had no idea there's actually a spray specifically for this though. Hah

    Bird Sh*t!

Soooo what do you do when you're all waxed up and a bird decides to defecate on your pretty ride? How do you take care of that one spot?

    Wet/Dry Vac Horsepower Needs?

Probably, somewhere. It doesn't feel like it has enough suction though in general to lift much regardless of the attachment. Yes I did clean the filters. Hah. I do understand horsepower to a certain extent. It's like wattage. Wattage indicates how much power something uses, not how much power...

    Wet/Dry Vac Horsepower Needs?

I'm wondering what kind of horsepower your Wet/Dry Vacs have and whether you're able to suck out carpet cleaners in a manner similar to carpet steamers with it. I don't seem to have much luck with my little 2hp job. Was thinking about 5. Will that do?

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Hmmm interesting. Now I have to decide if it's worth the extra hassle. Thanks for the link.

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Good point. My title is terribly vague now that you mention it.

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

I'm not sure what's left but it seems some of it is indeed rust. I tried the wet/dry vac method but it doesn't seem to have enough suction to be effective. It's only a 2HP model.

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

I seem to have hit a wall. I managed to remove the worst of it but I seem to be making no progress on the overall stain...if that makes sense. Does anyone have suggestions? Do I need to simply keep at it like weight loss?

How to clean carpets and upholstery without extractor

What kind of power do you guys' shop vacs have? I'm curious as to what everyone is using for best effect (with the assumption that at some point more power doesn't actually help with respect to sucking out the cleaning agent).

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

I don't have a brush specifically for interiors, but I've been agitating with moderately firm bristles. It's working well.

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Thanks guys. It is indeed good stuff. I did use the wet vac on the floor mats. They were embedded with grease and dirt but not this tub ring. I actually hit those with the hose to rinse too. They're not "finished" but there's a huge difference on those too. I've been going nuts with the Folex...

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Progress so far with Folex. Repeated application should get the majority, if not all, of it out. Thanks for the Folex recommendation!

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Hey, cheaper is one type of better. ;-) :-D Sounds good. I'll see what I can accomplish with it.

Will Optimum Power Clean work in this case?

Would I need any kind of special brush or anything? I do already have a strong bristle scrubber.
