How many of you actually USE a pressure washer?

Only when I set it up to do floor mats will I use it for other jobs like washing; undercarriage. I will use it on engines, but I like my new trick better. I just barely crack the inline shut off with the nozzle removed. It give a little bitty higher pressure stream that's perfect for engines.

    R.I.P. Dan Wheldon

Mighty sad. Classy decision by the rest of the drivers to stop the race and give a five lap honor to him.

    DA Polishers

DA's: Spindle lock rather than wrench to change backing plates. Slightly thinner body to facilitate gripping with handles off. True variable speeds vs. number of preset speeds. More forced rotation vs vibration in a random orbit.

    Stupid question -terry towels :)

Plus, the only towel that I use to dry tires since they pick up black crud. Saves the mf's. Keeps the little trapped H2O from slinging dressing.

    Poorboy's Spray and Wipe waterless...

I agree. The waterless do leave a slight haze. I just go back over the panel with a real light spray/wipe dry like using a QD. Like others said using a dry towel. My waterless wipe towels are usually pretty wet in short order (maybe too much product, but I get nervous).

    Porter Cable 7334

Doesn't sound right. It should have the same speeds as a PC. It's my understanding that a 7334 has a lower amp than the 7224. Don't know how that relates to power. I'd say pass on $60 since that's probably more than 50% of what it cost new at a hardware store, and you'll probably have no...

Does a rotary really save time?

Yes, a rotary is a lot quicker. I'd say I can do a car in approx. one third of the time, maybe less. It's my understanding that they produce more heat which in turn breaks down the deminishing abrasives more quickly; effectively. I'm no pro so I don't know exactly why they abrade more cc, but...

    Tree sap??

I've removed some pretty big old hard globs by building a dam around the sap with a microfiber; flooding with Stoner's Tarminator; let dwell; wipe. This has always worked for me two apps. max. Like someone mentioned above this is if it hasn't etched the paint.
