Even though your logic sounds right, unfortunately that's not the issue because I tried Opti bond on another set of tires that have never met a tire dressing before and it still streaked... I was doing a test with chemical guys new car shine dressing and Opti bond. The OB streaked on some spots...

I use this but I get streaks on my tires. For some reason it does not want to bond with the tire. I actually posted a thread about this. But I like how long it lasts on the trim! Great product tho :) Sent from my Nexus 4 using AG Online
