What next- my first full detail attempt

The others have given you the advice needed, so I won't repeat it. That's a nice truck! FX2 Sport? I use DP Poliseal and top with Max Wax on mine. Usually ONR washes, and QD. I'll use a Megs spray wax once in a while if I don't have time to do another coat of Max Wax. I'll go to a...

    Too much information...

Welcome! Nice truck! My 2011 was supposed to be Tuxedo black (stupid tsusami). I use DP Poliseal and top it with Max Wax after it cures, but mine is garaged.

One thing you learned early/Still true today

If you already know all the answers, you will soon find out you don't. It's easier to admit you don't know something and try to learn than to fix a stupid mistake. But above all, LEARN from your mistakes. Like others have said, expensive doesn't mean better, and cheapest doesn't mean the best...

Extension Cord Gauge For Griots 6" ROP

I use a 12 ga. extension cord also. In fact, I bought a couple extra when I came across them at going-out-of business sales, so I have a 25', a 50', and the one I made, which is ? long. If you're buying one specifically, get the 12 ga. I wouldn't get one less than 14 ga., for sure.

    Review: AutoFinesse Avalanche Snow Foam

Nice review. I don't think I'll be getting it, because I don't have a foam cannon, and it's a hassle for me to get my pressure washer dug out and hooked up. My pressure washer isn't that good to begin with. BUT, if I do get a better storage/hook-up system/and washer/foam gun, I'd probably...

    Quietest Polisher

Congrats on the new addition to the family! Perhaps instead of trying to find a quieter DA, you could look into some sound deadener material to put on the garage walls/ceiling. Just a thought.

    Metro Blaster Sidekick

Good review, thanks! I can see this would be a good tool to have for the grates by the windshield wipers on the truck, as well as the mirrors and wheels, etc.

He's a friend. You can work on your own time schedule. As long as he doesn't expect perfection, it will look a lot better than it does now, and he'll be happy.

    AutoGeek is a RIPOFF!

I feel blessed... My neighbor came over one day and said, "The next time you make an order to that place, get one of those bug sponges you have and some of that wash stuff you use for me."
