Meant to put my dad's truck sorry about that but we are getting new headlights for Father's Day and the paint looks good! Can you apply a coat/sealant to the grille? Because I might but a coating on it later and blow dry it and not touch it? I guess that's the only way I can not get scratches on...

It's a good coating! It should last. the only thing I see is if it being in the water has anything to do with. It shouldn't but I done know maybe others will chime in
