The PCXP is a great machine and I used one exclusively for my first three years of detailing. Make sure that you use 5.5 inch buffing pads and you will be in good shape. Did you order a 4 inch backing plate and 4 inch buffing pads as well?

Very good point. It takes me approximately an hour to use a gallon of water in my steam cleaner. As apposed to when I use my carpet extractor, I can use a gallon of water in a matter of minutes. On carpet and cloth upholstery, you really need the extra water to flush the dirt from the fabric.

@Critical - It is a MKVI GTI. Good look! My friend has the same vehicle and his exhaust tips always look like the picture you posted. The after pictures of the exhaust will make for quite a dramatic difference.

Is that an MK6 GTI exhaust tip? Don't be worried about using steel wool with some metal polish on stainless steel exhaust tips. If you are worried about damaging the surface use a junk microfiber towel and some metal polish. The microfiber towel will eventually yield the same results as steel...
