    Tuning advice...especially those with experience!

Meh, I go to car shows and everybody brags about hp, etc...my RS7 is a heavy pig, and no one in my area has an awd dyno, so I just go by what the tuner states (Unitronic). Stage 2 is rated just above 800 hp and 760 torque. It is a screamer and total sleeper in my area as nobody really knows...

    Tuning advice...especially those with experience!

Congrats, I always enjoy your posts and insite. Typically I have tuned most vehicles within the first year or so, including my motorcycle. I enjoy the better throttle response and low end grunt. I am stage II on my RS7, and have enjoyed every bit of it. Let us know how it goes and will be...

    Car Pro's Reload 2.0

I saw the release of this a while ago...and was intrigued. Then I saw the price for a bottle (average price I saw was $35/bottle 17 oz.). I would think there are a lot of better products for less money out there. I had major streak issues with v1.0, so unless this is drastically improved...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Thank you…yes pretty understated as most people have no idea what it is. I have been loving the stealth look, and even though the blacked out rims are not everyone’s taste, I have been really pleased. Cheers

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I decided to try the TW Pure shine, and in the midst of pollen/cottonwood tree area, I really didn’t notice any antistatic properties, actually felt the Graphene CS3 did a slightly better job, but almost a tie. Slickness, gloss were pretty even. So, I decided to just stick with the graphene...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Just when I thought I was done buying for a while...anything to darken and shine, I am willing to try. Picked up a bottle this morning and will give it a try. Will be interesting to see about the anti-static properties. Cheers

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I decided to jump on the graphene bandwagon. Car has PPF with Modesta ceramic coating. I applied Adam’s graphene detail spray, and feel like on my black ride, it darkened the look some. So far pleased and will see how it holds up. I plan on graphene CS3 as maintenance.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Yeah labelled "new formula" a few years ago...now they have changed it again? Love ONR, but yes they need to differentiate this stuff

Aquawax: is it me, or anyone else think…

Ha, I think I heard the "Ceramic brigade and the tiny water bead coalition" play back in the early 80's! I think I spit my coffee out a little this morning, so thanks :-) Loved Aquawax back in the day, easy application....but hated the build up over time if used too much and also couldn't stand...

    Phoenix EOD Hydra

That's interesting, as this is what I noticed as well with Hydra...it didn't run down the panels like Uber (which is super slick)...but rather clings to the surface. I also had issues with ONR streaking and even though it worked well, I always had to go back over the panels to remove. I will...

    Phoenix EOD Hydra

One thing I have noticed with Hydra vs. others, is that it evaporates really well, rather than leaving streaks after drying. I don't have to go over the car again to remove the streaks, but of course I tend to overapply most products. I don't feel though it's as slick as Wolfgang Uber...

    Phoenix EOD Hydra

I had the opportunity to use Phoenix EOD’s new Hydra rinseless wash today….as I have become a big fan of waterless washes and have tried many. My go to has been ONR, and it truly has been a great product. The Hydra diluted 1:128 oz used as a waterless wash really did a great job of removing...

LATEST TOPPER POLL. EVERYTHING SHY OF CANCOAT.

Right now have been using Phoenix EOD's Titan detailer...has been my go to lately over my PPF/ceramic treatment. They have a new waterless/rinseless wash called "Hydra" that I will be trying very soon. Love their soap as well, overall have been impressed.

gorgeous rich black tires....on a motorcycle?

Thats my point, the sidewall is for structure and is used on cornering, although not in contact with the road. To just treat the sidewall on a motorcycle tire really doesn't do much for asthetics because it is so narrow.

gorgeous rich black tires....on a motorcycle?

I would never put dressing/restorer on a motorcycle tire. I use my sidewall all the time on the twisty roads. Now, on a garage queen that is never ridden/show bike I would think ok.
