Yes Sir! Got here this morning. Not only did the coating get replaced, they threw in a 6 pk of applicator pads and a small bottle of 303 protectant. Above and beyond once again!! Thanks again Mike!

Turns out I have to remove some too. I might try wet sanding to get most of it off. I already wet sanded & polished it before I coated it the first time so I don’t think it will hurt to do it again.

I watched a lady at a gas station try to wash most of her dirty car with the windshield squeegee sponge and try to dry it with the other side. I had to cringe. Those are the kind of people who should have dealer wash their car. Sad you had to go through that but looks good now.

You might have to polish afterwards but there is a 3M pinstripe removal tool sold here that worked to get the worst of my badge residue off after I got what I could off with WD-40. I replaced the badges so it was not a big deal if the paint wasn’t perfect, but I polished the paint anyway.

Yes! Anytime there is product in the air from application or removal. I’ve had several sinus infections years ago from not using PPE. Have not had one since I started using it.

I have used all of those. I’m going back to solution finish. It has the deepest black on my trim and lasts several months. Next application I’m going to top it with Dlux to see how much longer it lasts.

It has to sit on the goo for a bit and usually takes several application/wipe offs to break down really old goo. A plastic razor blade also helps the process without marring your paint. Goo gone or 3M adhesive remover or the 3M citrus cleaner might work. I have all of them at my disposal but...

Has anyone tried this instead of one of the dedicated headlight coatings.

WD-40 is a pretty good adhesive remover among its other qualities.
