    What is your Rushmore?

So hard to answer... probably why you got no replies; I tend to have favs based on not being boutique because of accessibility and price; that being said, Surf City Garage - Barrier Reef Spray Wax; Griots - micro towels, Mothers - VLR, AA - all interior cleaner.

    Paint on vinyl seats...?

PS... if you don't want/need the leather smell of Mothers, AA all-purpose interior cleaner is a good cleaner... like $4.

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

can't resist a deal either; my local wally has Dash Away for 3.50, ALL Megs interior sprays ( QID, Natural Shine and Supreme Shine for 3.97 each )... will never use all this interior cleaner... need to find a boat : )

    Paint on vinyl seats...?

I've had good luck with Mothers VLR on exactly this issue... took a few applications, but prefer a few tries than something that might be too strong.

    Headliners

FWIW... had a guy who did mobile headliner replacements use and tell me to use Windex with ammonia on a towel and gently wipe the dirty spots; he wiped some spots off mine.

Scratches from something on rear quarter panel

Totally agree with Don M; those don't look bad at all. If you wanted to use a really light compound/polish, even Kit scratch out will do on most light scratches with a few applications and you don't really have to worry much about causing more.

    Single stage paint

FWIW.... single stage seems to be quite easy to shine-up; of course, all paints differ some and trying products would probably be the advise most would give. I've gotten single stage Toyota paint to look like glass with cheap/mild compound by hand... so, couldn't imagine less of a finish using a...

    Plastic markings !?

My mistake... meant to say goo gone; actually, I'd be afraid of goof off... more a solvent I believe, so hope you haven't gotten it. I've found Goo Gone great for lots of things, including dried sap.

    Headlight restoration methods

have done a lot of headlights with wet-sanding, polishing, clear-coating; usually wax after clear is good and dry. I just noticed at my local Advanced Auto that they have a 3M quick headlight kit that looks to have a solvent to remove the yellowing and a clear coat to finish... was like $6...

    Plastic markings !?

if you haven't gotten the glue off yet, you might try a little goof off to soften... apply with q-tip to just the glue, let it sit a couple minutes; I've found magic erasers to be like fine sandpaper and may dull the finish; as for the mark on the side mirror, have you tried rubbing alcohol on a...

    Window help needed

FWIW... haven't tried a good glass cleaner with 0000 steel wool..? I wouldn't think it'd do better than the glass polish, but one never knows; I was hesitant to try the steel wool ( 0000 ) but it did a great job of cleaning my windshield.

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

My CARQUEST has no Duragloss products... maybe bought up; local WallyWorld has EagleOne A-Z wheel cleaner for $2.

Yes another new guy with questions

cstegs... also fairly new at detailing but I would think a good product to remove fall-out, etc. like iron-x or whatever after washing, then washing again, then claying, then a sealant of choice would be my plan probably. Sealant choice would depend on how long you want it to last and what you...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

TenBlade2001.... no problem on the Megs Kit heads-up... always looking for deals; I will be watching the Gold Class Kit at Kmart... mine always has them, but are still$20; my wallyworld has mothers foam tech for $1.50; reading the label, says for vinyl as well. Does anyone have experience with...

    Scuffed Bumper

That doesn't look too bad; totally agree on the least aggressive product first, of course; it looks even a cheap OTC product like Scratch Out would take care of that with a couple of applications... have done it several times.

    Scuffed Bumper

FWIW.... I've had excellent results with 3M rubbing compound for several paint transfers, as well as scratches; 1st time I used it , I was concerned being a rubbing compound, but have used it with terry cloth with HARD pressure on Jaguar paint with NO additional scratches... as well as on softer...
