    Dr Beasleys paint hero.

I have had fantastic results with cosmic V2 maintained with cosmic spritz every few washes- I do think the glow & feel of HG is better but cant compare to the spritz as far as staying power

    Foam Gun / foaming ?

Myself- I cant see where the benefit of foam would be worth the hassle of constantly keeping up with that. I could be wrong but the only way I could see the benefit of foam is if the foam did the cleaning so I wouldn't need a manual wash. I just have always been in the "camp" that foam is just...

    Foam Gun / foaming ?

Of the folks on here that use a foam gun- I take it that you fellas start by foaming down the whole entire vehicle first then immediately start the wash process? Is that correct? Myself-- I have never let soap solution dry on anything I am washing, as I clean one section @ a time and...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Its a beauty for sure- but I dont think there is much if any fiberglass in them anymore. I use to keep up with that when I had them back in the day. I will ask over on the corvette forum- should get a pretty accurate reply from them- though they can be somewhat aloof over there @ times

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Finally got a chance to break out the Polytrol and give it a try on my trim. If I can get 6 months out of it I will be happy. I cant post pix anymore because they always 100% of the time show up sideways- so I have given up / quit trying to post pix

They aren't made of glass anymore- its a composite material, I forget exactly what year was the last for fiberglass, but its been a few decades Either way-- it looks good!! Is that a Z? -- or ZR1?

Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant - Water Behavior

I would rather have excessive choices than limited ones though Competition always drives the price down ( except where collusion is involved )

    Layering products on new finish?

Sounds like the TW line of products are a good fit for you-- I like them myself Though you are fooling yourself if you think your gonna get 2-3 months of quality protection out of much of anything short of a coating or MAYBE a high quality sealant MIGHT get you 2-- but certainly not 3

Mothers CMX Ceramic 3-in-1 Polish and Coat

Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant - Water Behavior

To me actually- that isn't anything special, as everything that I use repeals water just like that. The key however that would separate it from others would be longevity-- as you have stated. Keep us informed please!!

    Rupes pad stall

There aren't any free spinning orbitals that wont stall, some are worse than others, pad selection is very important. Your probably going to have to keep the speed up to the 4-5 range and lighten up a bit on your pressure- otherwise your going to need to go forced rotation or rotary. Is your...
