    Mothers Power Cone

Depending on the quality of the powder coating, it may be too aggressive. To be safe, I'd suggest you do it by hand instead.

    Ken Block Gymkhana 9

I miss the gorilla that's been in all the others. This one seems kinda boring by comparison.

What can I use to polish up this "chrome" trim?

Be careful in what you use. The grill, as others have mentioned, is plastic with a chrome looking film vacuum formed over it. It's not "real" chrome and is easily damaged. Using a traditional chrome polish will likely damage the surface even more than it already is. (You mentioned it was faded...

Mothers Back-to-Black Trim and Plastic Restorer on the rear bummer?

Yes, it's perfect for those areas. You should consider buying our Back-to-Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner kit as well - having a clean surface will allow the dressing to lay evenly, and last longer since it's on the trim itself and not just laying on dirt or oxidation.

Mothers Back-to-Black Trim and Plastic Restorer on the rear bummer?

Now that I take a better look at it, it appears to be a Honda Element, right? What year is it? I don't recall the rear bumper being white on all of them, so any info you can provide would be appreciated. Here's an image I found on-line: ViperGuy - the oiliness you describe is a common side...

Mothers Back-to-Black Trim and Plastic Restorer on the rear bummer?

What is the bumper cover made of? Is it painted and smooth or is it textured and non-painted?

    Polishing Chrome

Our yellow 05142 PowerBall Mini MD is an aggressive item used for scratch and defect removal on uncoated alloys. I would not use it on chrome. It's made to work with our 05150 PowerMetal Scratch Removing Polish. AutoGeek stocks both of these items. The aggressive tool is only available as a...

    liquid wax v. Paste waxes

For the average consumer (which most of you aren't), paste is a better value. The average consumer gets 2-3 applications from a 16 oz. bottle. It's not uncommon to get 20 uses from a can of paste. So, cost per use is less. And, if you knock a can over, none comes out. Knock that bottle...

    Good Leather Cleaner and Protectant?

VLR is made for use on vinyl, leather and rubber, whereas All-In-One Leather (new for 2016) is for leather only. VLR has more cleaners than All-In-One Leather does. I prefer All-In-One. In my experience, price alone is not an indicator of quality or performance, nor is availability in a...

Looking for a good drying towel

Since I use mine flat, they're still going strong after 4+ years of use. Machine wash, extra rinse and air dry is how I care for mine.

Looking for a good drying towel

What, no love for your Mothers? Mothers Ultra Soft Drying Towel has a foam core wrapped in microfiber to quickly towel-dry your vehicle after washing. Our foam core waffle weave drying towel is my favorite. The ability to pat dry is great on darker colors.

    Worm towel on Competition Ready

We decided not to come out with it. In the time it took to refine it in to a quality piece, the market was flooded with low cost versions, and our concern is we wouldn't be able to sell enough to justify the cost.

Bare aluminum rims with acid spots around rivets/bolts - please help

I'm curious of the spray detailer as well - none of them (that I'm aware of) are acid based. If product just dried on the rim surface, try applying some more, and wiping it well. That usually removes any dried product. As for the PowerBall Mini MD, it's designed to operate at <300 RPM. Low...

    Hot Rod Power Tour!

The first Power Tour was in 1995. We went from LA (Petersen Museum) to Mt Clemens, Michigan. There were 7 of us. 2nd year was 50, third year was about 300. It's gotten bigger each year. Once the logistics of people/infrastructure became an issue (there aren't too many hotels in Elk City...
