    Horrible experience with SEARS

I worked for Sears during college a few years back. We were a B-line store, much smaller and in a small-ish town, so we got away with some of the stuff the larger stores didn't. If the store did their job right and got the service set-up and item sent out quickly, then they are really at the...

    Rinseless wash and gloss/QD???

Agreed here. I don't use it very often for a quick detailer, but when I do I just grab my clay lube bottle and use that. Not a fan of quick detailers overall- I only use it on trouble spots like bird poop and the like. Very seldom will I spray the entire car down, might as well just do a...

I've never had an issue using it in engine bays, but will admit I haven't used it in quite a while. Your favorite dressing should work too, whether it be 303, PERL, etc. Follow the same instructions, you just want a light steam. Since I have PERL now, I'll likely go with that next time.

cg products i should look at?

Man what a haul, nice! I've heard great things about that Citrus Wash & Gloss too!

Meguiar's QD, UQDNX2, or Quick wax?

Quik Wax. If you compare them, the Quik Wax is actually milky and thick like wax. I have seen noticeable improvements in gloss, slickness, and water beading. For an OTC for about $9, not bad!

cg products i should look at?

Blacklight/V7 combo, any of their carnubas, and STRIPPER SCENT. Another vote for the G6 hypercoat too. Even when it's worn off, the tire looks better than bare rubber- it's hard to explain!

Looks good! My final step is to spray Armor-All on the plastics and rubber hoses, close the hood and start the engine. When you start to see a little smoke/steam coming out from under the hood, turn the motor off. After a few minutes pop the hood again and you're almost good to go- just a...

How often do you wash your drying towels?

I wash mine after every use. Invariably, I'll drop one, or get part of it inside a wheelwell, or it'll find dirt SOMEWHERE. I let them hang dry and will use them for glass until I have enough ready to run a whole load, though.

    Vintage Liquid Glass Pictures

I have a current customer who swears by it, and requests I use it each time I detail his Cadillac STS-V. Very easy to work with

    Liquid Glass Polish ?????

I have a client that has me use it on his 2006 Cadillac STS-V. It goes on and comes off easily, he swears by it.

CG blacklight plus V7 - might be best combo ever?

    Another 845 question

I'll do one spritz of water- don't know whether it helps or hurts but I do it out of habit. No need to "prime" it, per say, but that first application you may put on a little bit more than normal. I like to spin the pad by hand, and add a small "swirl" with the 845- I have it in an AG bottle...

PC Modification For Use Without The Handle

I'd like to find some plastic screws for my PC, that hex head just looks way too gnarly lol

Finally, A Tire Dressing Applicator I Like

FWIW, I was really suprised at the selection at my local Pep Boys. Plus, I got a really nice red 5 gallon bucket for free since I spent more than $25 on detailing supplies!
