I have always stuck with clay but then again I do not do this as a job. It's just for me, my girls SUV, and one of my friends. I have always worried about marring with the rubber pads. Plus like you, I like the feeling you get with the clay.

Mains Plug means your electrical outlet. Well at least in the UK when they say "plug into the mains". That's what it is. They are telling you to unplug the Flex.

I use Stoner Invisible Aerosol to clean. Then the Stoner Invisible spray bottle with Rain Repellant. It last for over 6 months for me in Florida. However I think the reason why is I always fill my washer fluid tank with RO/DI water and always clean/wipe my wiper blades with Stoner w/Rain...

Well good news. I guess the all the waxing I did on the weekend really payed off. When I went to get the estimate it started to rain. The adjuster wiped the place where the damage was and it wiped right off. I am sure there are probably some scratches or damage to be fixed. I will inspect it...
