Looking real fine Tad. Souveran makes sunny days worth waiting for. Love that clean sharp reflection in the paint. Wait til you try out the PC :buffing:

I have found in my brief experience in machine polishing that I was able to avoid this problem by applying a few sprays of pad conditioner to the dry pad prior to applying polish.

Thanks to everyone for all off your kind words. Its nasty here in NJ today and I so wanted to tweak the Porsche and do the Escalade. Oh well I guess you can't argue with mother nature. LOL

Thanks everyone for you input. I think I got my answer. Use a PC. It is a shame that the makers of the Flex (such a fine machine) have left such a deficiency in their product unaddressed.:confused:

Feed back please I have the Flex 3401 and I use the Edge Flex adapter with 4" pads for tight areas. I was wondering what other Flex 3401 owners do in this situation as I am not completely satisfied with the Edge pads.

Thanks :Lou, What would the cure time be for the Souveran wax before you do the QD. I did a QD with fk425 a couple of hours after the application of the Souveran. Was thast long enough?
