How old is the 915? I never had this problem with ONR. Any particular reason you're using a QD on freshly washed paint? I use spray wax instead which provides significant lubrication. Even ONR+W would probably provide more lubrication.

Kills two birds with one stone. Spray wax on a damp or wet car does not diminish the effectiveness of the wax. The wax is nanometers thick, the water particles are millimeters thick.
