What's your favorite protectant for dashes and interior?

Duly noted. It was dark so I just took a spray bottle, a microfiber and a shop light down to the car and tried it. I'll give it a whirl in a more controlled way when I get a chance. Thanks for the heads up.

    Got Love Bugs!

Now THAT is where I'd like to see an application of PB Bug Squash. I just tried it on some dried up bugs on the front of my Subaru today, and it worked like a charm. I am keeping some in the glovebox in a small pump sprayer.

    Safer wheel cleaner

Tempting, but at more than twice the cost of P21, very hard for me to justify.

What's your favorite protectant for dashes and interior?

I just decided to try my PB Natural Look. I expected a flat finish, but its reall semi-gloss. Nice clean look to it though. I'll finish the rest of my interior tomorrow and then decide if I want to use it on my detail this weekend.

Not even the Menzerna? I'm really thinking of trying that out. Wish AG carried it so I could get it this week.

    heavy duty car soap

When I deal with really dirty cars I do 3 things: 1. Pre-spray all the lower panels and wheels with Surf City Grime Destroyer. This stuff breaks up dirt and grime like nothing I've ever seen. 2. Add a bit of the SCGD to the pre-soak solution. I use a hose end sprayer so I put my soap and...

I meant to ask, do you get much wind loading with the tent? How do you keep it steady on windy days??

THAT is how you get it done! I've always said if I ever got into this, I'd buy one of those panel vans/delivery trucks. This setup is excellent though, no doubt.

Bissell Little Green Machine (from a skeptic)

LOL! I think the Oxyclean solution is just fine, but not as a spot treatment. As an overall scrub solution, I think it's going to be terrific. Yes, Goop is the hand cleaner. However, if you look on the product, it gives as much credence to it being for laundry as anything else. I bought the...

Bissell Little Green Machine (from a skeptic)

Alright, so I know this unit is popular with detailers. I've read about it on here and at other forums. After getting my butt kicked on a detail last week, I realized I needed to step up my interior game in a BIG way if I was going to call myself a detailer. So I decided to make 2 significant...

Quick Reviw - Several new (to me) products

The PB SSRs were the old formula. Honestly, the working time was just fine. They work a bit longer than some other things, but I stick to these primarily because they can be applied in full sun which is vital to me right now as I have no garage. I tend to use Optimum Poli-Seal for much the...

Quick Reviw - Several new (to me) products

I thought it (Wolfgang DGPS)had the Menzerna micropolish in it??? I did get an email from the Mustang owner this week. It's been raining every day and she said "Whatever you put on my car... the rain just runs right off as I drive!" Another satisfied customer! :)

Looking for the best engine degreaser

I've used that Gunk stuff in the past. Yea, it works well but environmentally friendly it is NOT. In fact, don't use it over asphalt (says so right on the can). Not sure how I feel about using something on my engine/hoses/belts that will soften and chip asphalt...

    Wolfgang Finishing Glaze

I believe the Cyclo green is similar to the Edge Green which I have. I also have the Cyclo white, blue, and orange pads. The blue pad seems just about perfect for a finishing polish/glaze. I actually bought the blues for doing 1-step AIOs. Anyway, I was just curious.

    Wolfgang Finishing Glaze

Why did you use a finishing polish with green pads? I use white or blue for that.

    Detail Challange

Agreed. I used Poli-Seal on my GF's silver Rav4 and was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Doesn't do much in the way of correction, but does a lot in terms of gloss and looks.
