Best MF towels, how to clean them

I am also very interested to see what everyone thinks. I started out with a 20 pack of the deluxe ones from bjs great in the beginning and for the price but after about 6 months of use I'm ready to dedicate them to door jams and wheels. I need something more plush for rinse less washes and...

    Boat Restoration

If I have to sand to get good results then that's what I'm going to have to do. I would rather do it right the first time. If I was to go with traditional sanding what grit sequence would you suggest?

Reviews: "The Complete Guide to A Show Car Shine"

I bought a copy of the ebook version ( I guess technically the ibook) and wasn't really expecting much. I thought that most had to be taught hands on but with the number of pictures and some videos mike taught the topics and techniques very well. I don't think I have ever read a book so fast...

    Daily Driver Headlight Restoration

Did you use any soap as lube to help while wet sanding? I'm going to do my headlights soon and have heard about the soap as it helps not leave too many sanding scratches. Wondering if it makes much of a difference..

I'm pretty sure I have the 7" variably speed. My father already had this one from compounding his boat so I just used that with a smaller hook and look backing plate . And what grit sequence should I use to wet sand? would I need to compound the Polish after sanding?

So, I am finally getting around to getting some pictures together of the detail I did of the new to me 98 f150 lariat. This was my first detail ever, basically got me into it. My neighbor owns a auto-body / detail shop. So I finally got sick of the nasty look and detailed it with some advice...

    Boat Restoration

Okay guys, nothing fancy here but I'm trying to restoring two early 80's laser sailboats. I'm planning out my restoration for the spring. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this oxidized of a boat. I'm hoping to get away without wet sanding, using a heavy marine compound with a...

Your favorite spray wax? (for protection)

I agree. I was bought it as a cheap quick option for maintenance with my weekly washes. With a base of Collinite 845, I am very impressed with the durability.

    Cleaner Waxes

Thanks for the response, I am going to give the D151 a try once we get a weather break here, but from what I have looked into I think it's going to be exactly what I need. I'm going to test with the different pads and see. Possibly even apply with a rotary if needed. But plan to stick to the DA

I really like Collinite 845. First quality wax I used and I find myself continually coming back to it. It's easy to use and lasts long time.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Gabe is kind enough to send me a sample of the meguiars D151. I'm going to give this a try and see how it works. And then possibly try the meguiars #66.

I haven't tried the Prima epic, but I have tried the Hydro Max Spray and loved it. Have you used other Prima products you liked? I'm thinking of trying their Hydro Wash next.

Thanks, this weekend I am going to try the Meguiars Cleaner again with a polishing pad, to see if this extra cut gives much of a difference. But I have been looking into Klasse AIO.

    Cleaner Waxes

Hey Guys, I'm looking into trying some different cleaner waxes to use as a tool for some production detailing, to use on some daily drives. I tried Meguiars Cleaner Wax (the paste one) and was not overly impressed with the correction value it gave. I know I'm not going to get a perfect...
