I had the same problem with a couple EagleOne clay mitts. Had I pulled them quickly I would have destroyed them. I took my time and managed to save them.

Hmm. It’s a non issue on my gg3 and I crank it up pretty good when I’m working fast and applying Sealants. It’s a really soft foam. You worried about hazing at that rpm? I’m guessing any cut it has when in use is gonna come from the abrasive. Better get thoughts from someone that has that polisher.

I Agree with Mike. The white Rupes is great for wax/Sealant application.

I’m a long time fan of DG601+ DG111. But I just noticed on the product page that it says 601 can be used with the sealant of your choice. Do any of you have experience applying 601 with any other sealants? http://www.autogeek.net/duragloss-polish-bonding-agent.html

Duragloss Aquawax works phenomenally as a wax as you dry product. The also make a waterless wash that’s also nice for this purpose. Duragloss Aquawax (AW) #951 Duragloss Aquawax Waterless Wash N Wax #971

“I get what I get”. That’s a good approach when using AIO’s and finishing polishes. Forcing those products to do a job they’re not intended to do can be a waste of time and product. Not to mention wear and tear on pads.

If you have it where you want it after the TSR, I’d opt for a dedicated sealant (not an AIO). If TSR doesn’t get the swirls, I’m not sure an AIO would either. And with a dedicated sealant, you'll likely see better longevity. That just seems to me like keeping everything moving forward and using...

Duragloss Aquawax, one of my favorites- very durable. I also like griots Speed Shine- great lubricity and shine. Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer- awesome water beading. Take your pick of the AG “spray wax” smorgasbord. You’ll be hard pressed not to come back for more.

I use cotton terry on glass. I find that whatever linting occurs is blown off rather quickly, whereas mf lint tends to stick. Now, if you're using top shelf mf for glass, then you won't have that problem. I also think cotton terry is better for bugs, grime, etc. You can scrub hard without the...
