Blackfire si02 spray after 2 months

The durability on this stuff is top shelf worthy. I've been amazed. Not overly glossy, but the beading lasts forever.

BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant review by Mike Phillips

I applied this last October. It spent most of the winter covered in salt. I never touched the paint but I did do the pay and spray a half dozen times from October to March. On the hood and roof it was still beading relentlessly in March. The sides that catch the most abuse didn't start to "drop...

HD Speed still a great product

In my experience, 360 durability has FAR better longevity than Speed. Not even close.

    Abandon LSPs for Spray Sealant/Coating?

Blackfire SiO2 Spray Sealant. Mothers CMX. Duragloss Aquawax. I think Wolfgang and Pinnacle also have SiO2 Spray sealants. There's a bunch of products that would accomplish what you're after.

Any recommendations on applying M37 paint coating V2?

How does immediately applying the sealant over the coating accelerate curing? First I've read of this.

    Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant

I think of the cockpit trim sealant as being more for plastics and not leather. Use a leather product on leather. And the trim sealant on plastic trim. I sorta see the trim sealant as "scotchguard for plastic".

    Mother’s CMX is here!

This has been a complaint I've read on amazon reviews as well. They say it's like a dust, sorts like when wiping off a wax after it's hazed. It's been described as "little white beads" that get stuck in places like rubber window seals. Is it something that is coming out of the sprayer? Or is...

Car pro Exlir or P&S beadmaker. Is one better than the other?

Really splitting hairs in this thread. You could use nothing but water and a plush microfiber towel and come out swirl free on a dusty car versus using "the slickest, best drying aid/detail spray ever" with a little more hand pressure and creating swirls. With most any product AG sells and...

    Polishing glass question

If it's only chattering in one direction, you might alleviate the chatter by bending the wiper arm very slightly. Sometimes after polishing, I've found glass to be TOO slippery. The blade is unable, under pressure, to flip back the other direction, and results in one-way chatter. With two...

    Powerlock questions

Headlights and wheels are fine. I wouldn't put it on any plastic trim.

    "Pop" on silver paint

Wow. You guys are great. Thanks for all the tips! I actually pulled the plastic off this truck myself when it was new. Gave it a very light hand wash, clayed, and then hit it with 360, then hi-Def. Also experimented a little with BF SiO2 spray. Though the paint is swirl free, I'm thinking a...

    "Pop" on silver paint

I realize it's a tough color to pop. But even the "sealant look" isn't really coming. Haha maybe I'm just so used to my past darker colored vehicles that this one just isn't ever gonna get there. But I was thinking there must be something that would enhance the gloss. If even for just the day...

    "Pop" on silver paint

Type-o in my first post. It's a 2018. It hasn't been touched when I got it. Still had plastic on it. So I just did 360 and it was perfect. No swirls. Just haven't been able to get that glassy shine to it.

    "Pop" on silver paint

Sounds like I should try a dedicated polish instead of the 360.
