    Ready to break knees....

Had a license suspension for the past few months, 8 to be exact, so in the mean time the car was sitting at my uncles shop until it was of use again. I got it back over the weekend, in sh*t condition, the exterior is just destroyed but thats besides the point. As I'm cleaning the inside I notice...

What was your first dream car???

When I was young and the movie "The Fast and the Furious" was released I fell in love with the Eclipse GSX as well as the Supra they used in the movie. Still favorites as they where very popular as I grew up, but now something else came into my eyes. In 7th grade my eyes met the 2004 Subaru...

    Paint Scrape

I had something similar happen on my mothers car. The paint is only on the clearcoat, or at least in my situation it was. What I did was wet it thoroughly an APC and tried to get most of it off like that, whatever was left ran it with a claybar. After continue with some scratch remover, I used...

Added new lighting to the garage

Wow what a difference! Do they make units like that so you can plug them into the outlet or do you have to hard wire it like a ceiling fixture?

    Nervous

Its a newer Toyota Camry, the lady described to me that the previous owners passed the car on with a smell, she said its a mix of things. I have the majority of stuff you guys mentioned except for a bacterial neutralizer and vinyl treatment, sorry for not being more specific. Where should I...

    Nervous

Have my first interior shampooing/odor removing job on Wednesday. All I have for the job is a spot stain remover, oxyclean, and some odor killing spray that I got on autogeek. What should I pay closest attention to? How would I go attacking the strong odor the customer described as smoking/foul...

Thanks for the input, I'm a student so the money on advertisements is a gamble. I'll hopefully have my website set up within the week or so, as well as the lawn signs around town so I'll keep you guys informed how things work out. If anyone has any other input Im very open to ideas, thanks!

    slow :/

Business is slow, only did a few family and friends cars this month. I'm dissapointed that word of mouth is spreading as fast, or even at all for that matter, as I would like it to. I don't advertise much, craiglists at most for now. I'm working on a website that I'll be able to link to places...

    Huge grin

Last few days we had some warm weather here in CT, so I did a friends car. He drives a silver 2008 Honda Accord, and hes one of those people who are satisfied with a rinse at the car wash bays. Well we went to the local car wash, we parked it in the bay and I got to work. Washed it using 2...

    Tedious work

I'm not even sure, I'll have to talk to my client more in depth about the car and when it's driven. Do high end cars usually come with undercarriage protection?

    Tedious work

I do have access to a professional lift because my uncle has a repair shop, but that's like 15 minutes away so I may just go with the jack stands as I'm pretty used to working under cars. I'm not looking forward to laying under a car for a few hours though :(

    Tedious work

A client recently asked me if I offer undercarriage cleaning, I told him it's not a regular service but I will do it. I read up on it and it seems like tedious work. What does a cleaning and protection of the undercarriage usually run? I've searched a little on the web but it's mostly DIY...
