Nice. I actually had 3M blue tape remove the decal of the hood badge on a bimmer I detailed. Fortunately it wasn't expensive to replace. Just ate into the profit of the detail.

I agree. Even though I've at times wondered about purchasing super-expensive waxes, when the logical side of my brain kicks in there's almost just no justification for it. A thread on another forums comparing, side-by-side, vintage to zaino really confirmed this...there's no or minimal...

Great shot, blkyukon. I stayed up until about 3 to watch the eclipse. I took some pictures but unfortunately do not have a camera that's really capable of capturing it (Canon G6). Maybe when the Canon 40D comes out I'll look into upgrading.

Agreed. The brush is the key IMO. I've only been able to remove ground in dirt from leather with some scrubbing.

I've had great results with sea sponges. (My first one is still going strong after about a year of use) BHB's are nice as well, although on a very dirty car I find the sea sponges work better to remove more dirt. I used DP Wheel Gell. I really like it. Just the right amount of gloss for my tastes. Seems to last a decent amount of time as well.
