I've used solution finish and it works well. It's too early to know how durability will be. So far it's been 2 weeks and it looks the same. I will be ordering DLux to try. From what I've seen it holds up very well.

I started using Blakfire clay and I think it's really good stuff. I've used other clays and some are too fine to remove all the contaminates from the paint without spending a lot of time. Blackfire seems to be a nice balance of aggressiveness without being too aggressive and marring the paint...

I think most people who get their daily driver detailed will want a sealant. Some may want a wax but if they did I would probably use it as a topper over a sealant and up charge. Most people won't know the difference or care. You need to know your customers and offer what would be best for...

Some lubes will cause the clay to fall apart quicker. I quit using soap and water mixture and started using products like ONR, UWW+ or a dedicated clay lube

I never had an issue with the power ball mini. I have a 3" back plate for my PC and will use it when I need it but sometimes the machine is too big to allow me to reach some areas even with the smaller pad. I'd like one of the air tools Bob posted earlier for those situations. Griots has...
