OptiCoat will help reduce marring and scratches from normal washes on soft paint but if you want something to help reduce or prevent rock chips a clear bra will be the way to go. Both are great products but they serve different purposes.

That's true. I use a foam applicator when I need a little more cut and finish off with Mothers Billet Polish by hand. When you wipe the residue don't use too much pressure or you will end up with fine scratches in the finish.

I stick with Klasse AIO for plastic chrome. It cleans it up really well.

Menzerna polishes are almost all I use. I learned how to detail with them and I feel really comfortable with them. I think SIP is my favorite because I can correct so much and it still finishes down nice.

Mike- I want to order some of these to try but I was wondering how the DA version will work on a forced rotation polisher? I think the Meguiars version works better on a DA than a forced rotation but that's my opinion.

I've tried a lot on my truck and so far the best thing I have used is Chemical Guys Black on Black. It leaves a deep black finish but isn't slick at all. Everything else I tried made my feet slip every time I tried to get in and out of the truck.
