Good work. IMO it's the customer that decides despite ones best advice or intentions. If they are going to continue to take it through washes that touch the paint and not just spray stuff, then it sounds like it makes no sense to fully go after it. Perhaps he will return for a yearly light...

Wont hurt anything. You'll be surprised how much shine can come from a good chemical and physical decontamination and wash. Just looks better. I suppose if a lot of time goes by... a year maybe... depends.. but you may have or want to do those steps again when you get around to polishing...

I agree with Paul. Get a good DA. Griots 6 inch is good. Lifetime warranty. 6 to 8 orange and white pads. Lake County or Buff and Shinebor Griots for example. Depending on how far you want to go a good AIO or compound and polish. Some good microfiber and off to the races. Clay is good...
