Alot of people jump to the griots as its about 100 dollars, has the most power of smaller throw das and a lifetime warranty. The rupes and flex are great machines, just well, pricey
So I have the meguiars g110v2 and a 6 inch red microfiber pad from meguiars on it most times and use a variety of correction fluids. I then always have to change out the plate and pad when wanting to do correction for smaller areas. I have been thinking about getting something that I could have...
To make any money in my area and not get a sloppy job done, its a 300 dollar minimum for paint correction. Why? The labor, product purchasing, time spent etc. Again it depends on your area but you should be charging around there as I feel it would help you where needed
Just thinking about it, alot of these coatings sheet water and do not really bead as much. For a person to come in and say I need another coating and then it does not or they did not care for their vehicle, its making you lose huge amounts of money. My only way id go back and help a customer is...
Great work, You florida people are so lucky with the temps. Its 9 degrees here and there salt all over the cars. It sucks big time. Luckily my favorite collinite 476s was invented
For leather cleaning I use something similar to the horsehair parts brush you see combined with lexol or simple green at 10:1 dilution. For protection, I use 303 aerospace. I have not worked with alcantara but you might be a able to clean it and then scotchguard it.
Do not let the dealer do...
Some channel lock pliers, custom made teak mallet, Woodworkers mallet, High speed steel burnishing rod, Carhartt sweatshirt. Bought myself some impact sockets, and supposed to be getting a really used impact wrench from someone eventually lol
Just wanted to give an update. I think mine is great but wanted to increase the value a bit further. I went to HD and got 3m tread tape and put 3 lines of it across the platform so I do not slip when wet. Was like 12 bucks a roll but so worth it.
The roll is located near the paint tapes on the...
I rarely use this stuff as I dont own a german car now and when I used to have the family audi to clean it was bad every week.
If I do use it, im using it 4:1 or 10:1
Definitely wear protection. I bought 3m chemical goggles and I have thick nitrile gloves, along with the meguiars wheel...
Our family picked up a new escape lease and I do have access to ONR. I was thinking I could do an ONR wash with a mitt but I think the dealer put some prep stuff on it. Feels slick enough. I was wondering what people think I could do to work more on decontaminating the paint while making sure it...
Have not used it but it makes stupid claims that are just untrue..like dawn strips wax. No
Adds aerodynamics. No
Lasts this long. no
Its a total scam imo
Sad And I agree, alot of owners can easily cause huge amounts of damage not knowing.
This is a great save too, what was used for in between the logo? I am thinking about getting a separate machine for 3 inch spot correction
Possibly folex carpet cleaner on the felt like material. Might be alcantara which is like a suede material but it is usually in higher end lines like infiniti I think
