    Rasky's Auto Detailing: 2008 VW R32

Chad, I keep telling you this, but IMO your work keeps getting better. That car looked dripping wet. Amazing correction and an amazing looking end result. Well done!

    Best Finishing Polish

Great thread Al. Thanks. Saved me from buying UF. I'll stick with M205 as my finishing polish and work on my technique, as Dave said.

    Leather Care

From the various things I have read and from reading results from people on detailing forums, I have been convinced that a "water based" cleaner/conditioner is the way to go. In that regard, I think Leather Masters is the best choice.

    Winter comming??

I guess it is all relative. I lived in "North" Jersey (Bergen County) for 6 years and loved the "mild" winters. Not quite "Brooklyn mild" but close. I suppose of the folks in Buffalo or Rochester chime in, they'd tell you that they would die for the "real bad" NJ winters! LOL

    Appliing LSP in Layers

I'm confused. Is this true for sealants as well? Lets say I use sealant X and I'm putting on a second layer to ensure uniform coverage, not layering per se, will my second layer remove my first?

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

Still trying to figure out what "Zed 2 Pro" is? LOL!!!

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

Actually, I'm thinking about this a little more... does anyone know of two LSPs I could try side by side where there would be a HUGE difference, unmistakable, even to a poor eye, like mine? For example, Zaino is suppose to have a plastic look, right? What if I put Z2Pro beside "product x"...

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

Do you think you can teach someone to see the nuance in the differences between LSPs? I think your example of being an artist is a good (and accurate one) because I don't have an artistic bone in my body and probably couldn't tell the difference between a Rembrandt and little Billy's 4th grade...

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

Good point! It's like giving a top detailing pro a car with all of their polishes and a $10 lsp vs. some shmuck with no detailing knowledge and some zymol vintage. My bet would be the top pro would have the better looking car at the end of the day.

Glaze or Polish, which is correct?

I've always known M07 to be a "pure polish" which could be used with ANY of the Meguiars LSPs, from NXT, to Gold Class to anything else.

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

I'm with you! I've tried products from the least expensive OTC type LSP, to Fuzion, Souveran, Victoria's Red, P21s etc... and I've never been able to tell the difference. They all look great but I can't SEE a difference. Often, I can feel a difference and some are easier to use than others...

Glaze or Polish, which is correct?

Just a bit confused because Mike Phillips wrote this a couple of weeks ago (here on AG - so I wasn't sure which to use): We did the optional step of re-polishing the single stage paint using M07 Show Car Glaze to really gorge the paint with the high concentration of polishing oils found in M07...

Glaze or Polish, which is correct?

Another member created a thread and there was some confusion with respect to certain detailing terminology. (See here http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/21362-wolfgang-deep-gloss-paint-sealant-review-how-2.html#post265025) I know over at MOL, the word "polish" or maybe better...
