Yea I learned my lesson the same way.. I'll park a country mile to get away from other cars now.. I drop the wife and kids at the door (movies, Walmart, HD) then go hunting for a prime spot. Anything on the end with grass on one or a curb are great spots.

I use a paint brush as well. I mix Meg Hyper 2:1 in a old County Crock tub, dip and go around 3/4 times. I may keep 4/5 oz in there at at time no need to fill it up. It's funny bc when I reached for a Tupperware the in the kitchen and the wife was like "oh no, here use this!" lol

You can get $2100-2400 for that car EASY.. miles are great, sunroof, ac ,new brakes A buddy of mine had a Protege and it pretty peppy too. Great work, $700 is a fantastic investment for that car. I understand it will be your DD, but that's money in the bank.

I have the MTM version with a gas PW, it works great. I also have the quick connects (Home Depot), take your gun to the store with you.
