Use a rinseless or waterless wash and if you are worried about water spots with a rinseless, use distilled water.

Unless its a super hard coating like Gtechniq Crystal Serum, in which case you need to sand it off. :)

Yes its a great time saver. I use it for everything except paint and glass.

Rinse less or water less should give you zero water spots, its only using free flowing water where you run the risk of water spots. I did see a video on Youtube where he used distilled water with Optimum No Rinse and Wax. He used 1/2 gallon of water and I think he was somewhere in California...

No factory applies paint sealant.

Don't get the dealer stuff as they do zero prep to make sure the paint is perfect before using it. I know because I used to work at a dealership that did this.

Mike, a rinse less wash makes less of a mess than breaking out the hose, foam cannon, etc.

Mike, the quickest way to avoid water spots is to use a waterless or rinse less wash :)

I do have personal experiance with it. It has the longest durability, scratch resistance and gloss. I did however just find out Modesta no longer sells to the public and only though authorized installers.

No one can say how much product you need to get the job done.

I used to have 2 steam cleaners, not at the same time though. I didn't find them as useful or as fast as a Tornador.

I think they are about $200 for the coating and its very hard to apply.

Or you could use a rinse less wash using something like Optimum No Rinse, depending on the dirt level. Between step 7 and the next step you want to something like an IPA or Gtechniq Panel Wipe before apply a good coating or sealant.

I have used Gtechniq C1 and Modesta+ BC-05. Modesta is by far the best coating, if you can swallow the price of it. I would look at Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light, or if you want to get accredited with Gtechniq you can apply regular Crystal Serum, which has a 7 year guarantee.
