Well, when your camera doesn't have the settings you listed then I think I need to get something a little better quality. I'll check out the Canon previously mentioned

I guess a dslr camera suits what I want to be able to achieve. Hard to capture the beauty of a detailed car with an Iphone or similar.

Noted. lol, sorry I jumped the gun on my response. Alright give that section a wash, once it's clean follow up with using a clay bar to remove bonded contaminants. From there I would inspect the surface to see how bad it is. I never tried vinegar before so I can't comment on that, but you could...

I would try a light polish on a white pad and go from there, after all the necessary wash and decontamination steps of course.

Currently I have an Iphone 5 and a Canon p&s camera to document 50/50's and before after pictures, while the quality isn't all that great how important do you think owning a premium camera (dslr I guess) is to a detailer, part or full time? I'm sure it's something I can invest in later on once...

On stuff like that I would normally hit it with my Dupray steamer, or try to agitate with some diluted APC and a raceglaze/swissvax brush. Is it metal or chrome? Looks like it might be able to be polished with a bit of metal polish.

What do you mean by spots on it ? Maybe start by listing your washing methods and we can go from there

Jesus, 12 passes? Does that mean you used the same type of pad and polish on a section 12 times??

Did you use the shark steamer for the steering wheel aswell? I didn't think those were all that powerful

Ez glaze doesn't require you to use a polisher to apply? Is it simply rub on and wipe off type product?
