I use KochChemie ASC in my house on about everything. It does very well, even in the bathroom. I wish it was sold in gallons.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Swapped in some new deionizing resin. Tried a new method of dumping the expired resin. Drilled some tiny holes all around the bottom sides of a bucket. Dump some water out of your tank and when you get near the resin, dump that into the bucket. The next day, there won’t be a ton of water to...

    Microfiber for final wipe

I use these for final wipes, detail sprays, and touch-ups after using a drying aid (with the drying aid)... The Rag Company Lavendar Eagle Edgeless Microfiber Towel I rarely have had these lint on me, but the TRC creatures have very often, unfortunately. That seems to even happen after a few...

Interested in how you like ReTyre and ECH2O as well. Both are on my 'next purchase' list lol.

That's why I use a water deionizer system. I have to wash outside with no shade and my water is regularly ~420PPM TDS. I really doesn't take long to burn through the deionizer media, so this year I bought two refills (~$200 total). Last wash I was at ~9PPM out of the deionizer, so I'll need...

Cancoat evo bad experience or not?

That's it! I bought it when he started talking about it on one of his Hex membership videos and have been using it since. I've got about a half-gallon left LOL.

Cancoat evo bad experience or not?

Thanks all. :xyxthumbs: I think CanCoat sounds like it's going to work well for me, especially given the new Evo version. It'll be interesting to see how it works with the drying aid I am currently using. I can't remember the name lol. It's the same as OG uses, but has a pink color. Also...

Cancoat evo bad experience or not?

When CanCoat starts to fail, do you have to remove it with a polisher before re-applying? That is the one thing that keeps me away from any of the different types of coatings out there.

That VLB you used is very similar to one I've used decades ago to paint around trim in the house. I could see where that might work pretty well on vinyl and leather.

Cancoat evo bad experience or not?

With Cancoat (or Cancoat EVO), would you have to completely remove your previous application (failing or start to fail) before applying new?

    Mattmann’s new shop!

Agreed! ...and I love the white raised lettered tire look. I'm kinda impressed some tire companies still do this.

I remember using a chamois all the way back in my teen years. Finally threw it away in the early 2000's. One thing that I really enjoyed with it was our local 'you wash it' had a few crank rollers onsite where could wring the chamois out easily a few times while drying your car. I have to...

    Electric Pressure Washer/Foam Cannon HELP!!!

I used to have this exact pressure washer. The only way I was able to get decent foam was using a crap ton of soap along with a foam canon that had a tiny orifice in it. 1.1mm was the size, I believe. I have really hard water, so maybe that was an additional reason for using a lot of soap...

    Tint adhesive removal

Hi y'all. I had my son wait to remove his rear window tint that failed on a hot summer day. This was today lol. He was able to remove 95% of the tint film, but none of the adhesive removed with the film. I had him try isopropyl alcohol, but he says this didn't work at all. Do any of you...
