I don't see why it wouldn't work. I only used a lower powered griots garage 3 in unit.

I had the best luck with machine, hand didn't seem to work as well.

From what I am reading, that new polisher I bought is good to use just use a pad and polish combo to touch up a little. I am glad, I love using it and making my car shine. I didn't want to be to destructive to the clear, like Mike says clear is very thin.

I was wondering how often do you guys remove swirls and scratches from your own paint? Is it years or once a year. I ask because I was wondering what others like to do. People on this forum are detailing our cars more than most. I like the shine. 😎

My biggest concern was when scraping ice the coating comes with it. Seems like it will not come off with just ice scraping. I once upon a time used rainx, that stuff never lasted long, a few month at best. A Coating seems to hold up better from what I am hearing here. Rainx was so temporary.
