I agree - I don't see the point of waxing if you're just going to change the look and water-interaction properties immediately after with an application of v7 - and since v7 adds some protection by itself, if you just want added durability, just use it after every wash.

I haven't used it :D And if I had that money to spend on a wax, I still wouldn't - I'd get some Zymol Glasur (if I didn't already have it), SwissVax Concorso/Best of Show, Dodo Juice Supernatural in that nice wooden pot, and some Auto Finesse Spirit - and still have over $100 in change left.

I've raised the point as well - I would be very interested in Satsuma Rock (I got pot #4 of the first commercial pour of Bouncer's 22), but the shipping from the UK just kills it for me.

I would use a more aggressive product rather than use a more aggressive pad with a mild polish - the pad may induce marring that your polish will be too fine to completely remove.

845 has a very bright, shiny look - too bright for me, at least for my red car.

FK425? Claims to have anti-static properties. I've not used it a lot (only have a small sample), and it could easily be a placebo effect, but I did feel that the car did not accumulate as much dust when I used it.

Sounds like it could work - I'd verify that the pressure washer does did suck the water first though, before spending on the other bits and bobs.
