Spray Wax that is long lasting and gives decent protection?

Durable spray wax? Optimum Car Wax, definitely. Here's a nice review that Corey made a couple of years back, comparing UQW, DG AW, OCW and Pinnacle SW - he has a two-month update a couple of pages down the thread. Review: Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax Here's the two-month update: Two-Month...

    Rinseless wash newbie - Questions

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but is this a serious question? If it is... I'm not going to mention the actual site, out of respect for the forum owner, but it begins with the letter A and ends with N.

Dodo Juice Supernatural Acrylic Spritz made me late for office

You should apply it like you would a spray wax or QD - one to two sprays on the panel, spread with an MF towel, flip towel and do a second wipe. Given how you applied it - several sprays on a foam applicator, and then just applying without spreading or buffing off with a towel, I can see how it...

    Favorite Rinsless, Waterless Wash?

For rinseless, I've tried ONRv2, the previous version of DP Rinseless, UWW+, BF Rinseless, and ONRWW. My current products of choice are BF Rinseless (when using with sealants) and ONRWW when I have a carnauba-based LSP. UWW+ is also good, but a bit expensive as a rinseless compared to BF or...

    Rinseless wash newbie - Questions

There are some nice 600 gsm Eurow shag-weave 10-pack towels on the site that shares a name with a river in South America. A bit smaller than usual (12x16 rather than 16x16), but they work really well for rinseless washes, and are reasonably inexpensive.

Korean Towel vs 700 GSM Towel

For waterless and rinseless washes, get the thicker towels - you want as much pile to take care of any dirt and dust you pick up from the panel. However, spray wax/sealant application, I'd go for a towel with a shorter, medium-nap.

    Sealant/Wax for a black Jeep

I usually just apply a second coat (of either wax or sealant) after the next wash, but otherwise, I'd try and wait four hours or so.

    Sealant/Wax for a black Jeep

On a black car, keeping in mind both durability and looks, (and assuming you're not interested in a coating), I'd just get Collinite 915, apply two layers to ensure even and complete coverage, and be done.

Help with wax/wash process- about to give up!

That would be a factor I'd consider - the foam from a foam cannon (versus that from a foam gun) is a lot drier, and thus, as you mention, might not provide as much lubrication. That's why I feel that a foam gun, with it's more watery output, is actually a better wash solution bucket replacement...

    anyone using just meguiars products?

It's available here in the Philippines, for - if I remember correctly - about the equivalent of $100; but I also remember reading that the product was made primarily for protection rather than looks - so it doesn't have that super glossy, super glassy look other coatings have.

    Never wet ??

It dries to a white haze, and gets degraded with any abrasion - so might not be the best on a convertible top, unless you don't mind a chalky white color and texture :)

    Blackfire/wdgps/v7 selection help

You're letting yourself get caught up in the hype of the various products you read about - keep it simple, and if possible, keep it within product lines (since these are more likely to work well with each other). Get some Blackfire GEP to clean and prep the paint, apply Blackfire Wet Diamond...

    Waxing tips

I'd apply up to two coats of one product, and only that many to ensure even coverage - I feel that anything more than that is a waste of time and product. There are a series of threads on Detailing World involving using scientific equipment to measure the thickness of wax and sealant "layers"...

Wax Sugestions For White and Silver Paint

If you're looking for just a wax (since you already mentioned that you'll be using M21 as your sealant), another option that I've not seen mentioned would be Bouncer's 22 - it looks very good on whites, silvers and metallics.

    Non staining wax/sealant

Hmmm. I've not had an issue in my case, but it could be a difference in the type of plastic or the age of the trim.

    What is better than UPGP?

My understanding is that they made and named a wax after him (of course in cooperation with him), but now Barry is actually a dealer of 3D products - they don't have a WOWA product though :D

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

Did you keep the 845 in one of those ketsup-type squeeze bottles? I've found that 845 can outgas right through (a sticker I placed on the outside of a bottle got soaked through and slid off) HDPE or LDPE plastic (which those bottles are made of), and dry up slowly over time. I've since kept my...
