    Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Unrelated to detailing, but worthy of mention. Everyone should have one of these on their key ring, if only reason is only to have something cool looking on it! Gerber Shard. Stainless with a titanium coating. Got a Phillips driver, small flat driver, medium flat driver, lanyard ring, bottle...

    Cleanfreak Spot carpet Extractor

I found the model you were talking about. Excellent deal I would say! You say your budget doesn't allow for the heated model so you used hot water. How long would you say the water stayed hot during your test?

2011 Chrysler 300C- After Dealer Detail

It looks like ran your car through the Swirl-O-Matic about 50 times. Yikes! Great turn around though, fantastic!

Honda Paint-solid colors may or may not be clearcoated

Ahh good ole Taffeta white....that was a good color, as far as whites as concerned. That Toyota Super White though....those things oxidize like it's nobody's business. I dislike when one comes through the shop for a wash and wax, as it needs way more than that.

What is needed to remove this?

There's your problem. The mud had tried and that's a base layer. Just give it a good wash at home with a mitt and it should go away. I've cleaned plenty a muddin trucks, so I'm pretty confident in that being the case.

What is needed to remove this?

That'd be some crazy etching from mud. I would of thought that a good hand wash would take care of those outlines, like those would be left over from pressure washing the mud off but not from the actual motion of washing it with a mitt and soap. Do you have any polishes or pads to test on it, if...

    Just venting - house burglarized

That sucks to hear man. I went through that last fall when someone got into my car and jacked an MP3 player and my detailing bag (the police found the bag with everything in fit, thankfully) so I feel your pain. It's never fun, and I hope it doesn't happen again. But like everyone said, it's...

    Neighbor Hosed Down My SUV...WTH?

I feel you on this one. I had just washed and waxed my car and pulled it into the alley to move another car down it. Well he goes out and fires up his mower and blows grass clippings all over it and IN it, since the windows were down. I had a little talk with him, and he just looked at me like I...

    Driver floorboard wet after rain

The body shop that did the work said there was no warranty on ANY of the work they did or on the windshield. And it wasn't the AAA approved shop, as that one was over an hour and a state way (needless to say, I no longer have AAA insurance). I took it to the body shop that repainted the awful...
