    It does help to have it pressure washed and dry- but honestly Fluid Film is designed to penetrate into the pores of the material it is being applied to.

    Fluid Film can be sprayed through a garden pump sprayer. It can also be diluted with Kerosene- although it reduces its effectiveness. And getting it in the exhaust is not an issue- just don't purposely spray it on the exhaust.

    ^^^^Great post!^^^^^ I can, have, and still do if it necessitates it (depending on what awkward angle I have to buff at or if it is an intricate item I have to buff- as the shop I work for doesn't have anything small for precise buffing)! (I'm only 5'9" 145lbs)

    As others have stated- compounding and polishing is a relaxing activity for me- especially when I am in the shop at night with no one else around- just you, the machine, and the car.

    -Labor Rates make an obvious difference -How much repair time (not paint time) is allotted for each individual damaged panel -The more space to blend out the color the better -Full panel clear time is important and in my opinion creates a better repair- i.e. no mid panel clear coat blends...
