    AIO product Recommendations...

I experienced the same thing with HD Speed on a trashed black Altima. Had to step up to an LC Flat orange from white.

    Interior cleaner protectant

I've used CG Inner Clean and I liked it. Cleaned well, smelled nice, and didn't leave ANY gloss behind.

First time polishing - Okay to leave car outside overnight?

I would wipe the car down with quick detailer or waterless wash in the morning.

    How many pads?: Discussion!!

I use all 8 of my polishing pads to buff out my Honda Accord. Followed by a single finishing pad for sealant (I have one as a spare too). I also have 8 cutting pads. My brother recently asked me to buff out his GMC Sierra 2500HD. I told him I'd need to buy more pads before even trying. I'm...

Which MF towels should I buy?

The PFM drying towel comes in two sizes: large and small. The small ones would be absolutely perfect for rinseless washes. They are soft and absorbent, and their small size makes them easy to handle. Which is especially important for drying a panel at a time when doing a rinseless wash. I don't...

Any Suggestions on Repairing Bolt Holes in a Truck Bed

Ya, definitely put some paint or primer on the exposed metal edge of the holes. They'll probably start rusting otherwise. Then you can put a plug or the bed side cap.

    Matte/Satin tire dressing, recommendations?

Let us know how it goes! I like the ease of applying an aerosol. Anyone know if it's water or solvent based?

    Cleaning microfiber drying towels

I wash my all my MF products towels the same way. I put them in the washing machine on warm, add some 3D Towel Kleen, then put them in the dryer on low. This process seems to work well for me.

Brush or pad to wash truck?

I'd get a boar's hair wash brush. Montana Original Boar's Hair Car Wash Brushes is a soft, gentle car wash brush for cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats.

    Matte/Satin tire dressing, recommendations?

For those of you who use Hyper Dressing or PERL, how do you apply it? I've been using an aerosol from Meguiar's and I just spray directly it on the tire, then wipe with a microfiber or foam applicator. I like this process and it seems to work pretty good for me. Will the same process work for...

Waxing a car tomorrow that was washed today

I'd use quick detailer or waterless wash and a MF towel, and wipe down the whole car. Instead of wiping the dust off dry.

How many of you detail inside the fuel door?⛽️

Good point about cap-less fuel fillers. Maybe that's a good place for just a waterless wash and MF towel. Don't want to get water in the tank. I find that my personal car doesn't need regular cleaning behind the fuel door. I gave it a good cleaning when I first bought it, but since then it...

Best Trim Detailer also for Engine Bay?

I uses 303 AP for engine bays after reading many recommendations here. Works good. Nice satin finish, not greasy, and lasts a long time.

    HD Cut+ VS Menz 400

Maybe 3D One will be more comparable to Menzerna HC400.

How much UV protection is enough for dashboard?

I like to do a thorough application of 303 AP on my interior plastic once a year.

    Microfiber and Hot Water

I wash all my MF towels with warm water. The packaging of my Griot's Garage PFM drying towel said to wash with it with hot water, but I don't. Mainly to save energy, not because I'm worried about damaging the MF towel. My towels all seem to come out clean and soft enough anyways.

Drying towels: is the PFM by Griot's still the best?

Similarly, I have dried 2 mid-sized sedans with the large PFM back to back. It was so heavy with water, but it couldn't be wrung out. Starting the 2nd car with the damp PFM wasn't too bad, but by then end of it I would say it was done (couldn't absorb more). But that's still very impressive for...

Review: 3D ONE Hybrid Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

Where does HD One fit in with the existing HD Polish+ and HD Cut+? In between, like a medium polish?

    Super slick QD/drying aid?

I have UWW+, ONR, D155 and D156 at my disposal. The first 2 are are $5/gallon of QD, the latter 2 are $30 and $45 per gallon respectively. For a drying aid, I use either of the first 2 simply because of cost. They seem to work well. I feel like I'm wasting the 2 more expensive ones spraying...
