Tag team! Ronkh and ihaveacamaro take on this blue Camaro :)

Marc, you have an extreme eye for detail my man! They are the new wheels. Take off wheels and tires from a brand new Camaro costs $1100. New tires from tirerack cost $900 plus fees of getting a shop to put them on and mount them and what not. Bought the takeoff wheels, sold my old wheels and...

    Orange peel question.

It definitely can. Those carpro pads are designed to do so. They will need plenty of passes however (~20 passes seems to be a good target) and will remove at least 4 microns of paint in my experience. Here's a photo I snapped after using the Carpro Denim Pad on a Griot's Garage DA after 18...

Thank you! Thanks redline! Ron was a great help!! He's a boss with the flex. Hahaha I saw the little girls, so I'm assuming he was hiding their trophies lmao ;) Yeah FG400 is great stuff. I really liked it for a one step and it's amazing the finishing ability, even with a cutting pad...

Tag team! Ronkh and ihaveacamaro take on this blue Camaro :)

First off, I want to say a sincere thanks to Ron for letting me use his garage and time and supplies on detailing my Camaro. It's very much appreciated!! It's been a while since I polished my own car and not having my own garage anymore, I asked for Ron's help and he agreed :) My car had some...

CarPro Perl leaving gunk on tires

I've had PERL last through Florida rain showers. I think a really clean tire is key. Lasted a few weeks through about 4 HEAVY rain showers.

    Measuring paint thickness/clearcoat on Corvettes

That's an understatement lol I agree with Bob though, any doubts, probably should invest in a PTG.

How to: Use a clay bar vs clay alternative - Exterior Car Detail Parts 20 and 21

After you've used Iron X to decontaminate your car, the next step is to remove above-surface contaminants with a clay bar or clay alternative. In these next two videos, I explain how to use each. As always, thanks for watching and hope you enjoy! :) Clay Alternative How to Clay a Car Using...

How to: Use Iron X - Exterior Car Detail Part 19

It's more of a nuisance than it is a concern. IronX is too good at what it does to be replaced imo. If something comes out that is outright MUCH better than IronX, I'll look into replacing. In the meantime, I'm happy with the performance, just annoyed that it smells so awful.

How to: Use Iron X - Exterior Car Detail Part 19

Appreciate you watching them!! :) :props: It's the shut off valve from Dramm. I like it because I can get a somewhat pressurized stream if I want and instantly change it to full flow water. Amazon.com : Dramm 12353 Heavy-Duty Brass Shut-Off Valve : Garden Hose Parts : Patio, Lawn & Garden...

    Process video links

Those are good products, you should be able to get results from that. What car are you working on? If you have a car with really hard paint, you may need a stronger compound.

    Process video links

I make videos like that and have an entire playlist on exterior car detailing that is coming out part by part for the past few weeks and next few weeks. I haven't reached the paint correction part yet though. It's very soon however. Here's the playlist...

First time ever doing a 2 bucket wash - my own car

FYI, First time you use a horse hair brush, brush it against a grit guard. A good amount of hair will fall out but you want that there instead of all over your seats :props: Nice job on the wash :)
