    Ready or not...

For the clear coat issue I would go lightly over it but I would also seal the heck out of it so it stops where it is.

Detailer's Helper Auto Detailing Belt Review

I was thinking of trying one of the big loop hammer holders, but as you said I would put in mostly at my back. I would think you wouldnt need to unplug just run the cord down it in a loop. I am going to check my theory out at the hardware store.

that guy is ok in the vid,, however,, Ithink if you see the post I put up,,, its really easier. also it is not a bad idea to change out the crappy screws. Though I may try this method next time. I actually used some bearing grease,, and found it to be too thick. the sta plex runs much nicer.

Detailing a brand new car. Are these the correct steps to take and items to use?

Is this a brand new car or a new to you car? As far as compound,, put it in the sun and look to see how bad the swirls are, you may be able to do just fine with a good polishing. Why use simple green on inside? unless you have some really dirty stuff? I hear the 303 is great stuff to use on...

    Wax flying everywhere help

What speed are you using to wax? Waxing is a slow speed op. All you are doing is covering the area and moving the wax around in nice even pattern. For wax you really do not need to "spritz" so it may be getting to wet also. and you may have too much product. Spritzing is used for compounding...

Using sealant on INSIDE of glass?

I always used to use mothers AIO (otc) on the insides. it cleans and wipes off nice and does not streak. Since using MF glass towels and a few tricks picked up in here, I have not,, but no reason it wouldnt work.

Is there clear coat over the stripe? if yes just go light over it,, if not. the above option is good if you know how to do it, option 2, find some vinyl painters pinstripe tame(IE very skinny) and cover the stripes, go by hand and get as close as possible.
