    Rubber Gloves

I like to use nitrile gloves, as well as a heavy duty rubber pair for things like steel wool. Gloves in general prevent oily fingerprints, protect your hands from chemicals, and keep your hands clean. There's nothing worse than getting your hands dirty on the wheels or exhaust and then touching...

    Foam cannon, rinse, then wash?

:iagree: In my opinion, it's the safest way.

New here - some detail questions

Looks like a pretty good list. When it comes to microfibers, I like to have different levels of towel for different uses. For example: Level 1 - Highest quality, only use on paint Level 2 - General purpose, used on interior surfaces and glass with the exception of the instrument cluster...

    This makes my stomache cringe....

 I was going to say, this guy has a lot to learn...just like me starting out. I wonder if he knows that he's on a detailing site. I notice that a lot of products sell, even if they hurt the finish. For most people clean is good enough; they don't realize that cleaning in that method is...

    2013 BMW M5 Restoration Detail - 45hrs - Immaculate Reflections

Great work! Again, I'm simply appalled at how much damage dealers do the vehicle. I'm always telling people over on the Porsche forum to stay away from dealer detailing. Most of them think I'm crazy. :pc7424:

911 Turbo S, Paint Correction and Opti-Coat Pro Application: Rasky's Auto Detailing

Love the 997. Great work! Looks better than when it drove off the dealer lot, I'm sure. As much as people love black / gunmetal rims, there's something about silver that does it for me.
