What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Meguiar’s 105 and 205. I tried applying with microfiber cloth but that didn’t do much for the scratches. Next I used a 3M ultrafine sanding pad which pretty much took care of the scratches. The challenge in trying to work in such a confined area. I then used a Dremel mandrel and polishing...

Just finished polishing the paint on my ‘08 Tacoma. Next I will move on to detailing the engine bay and applying Meguiar’s Ultimate black plastic restorer on the trim. Also, I guess because I’m OCD, I’m going to add a 1” lowering block kit to the rear springs so the truck will sit level. I...

Swapping caps on detailing products I like the Collinite#845 and am using it after polishing on the 2008 Tacoma I recently purchased. I have used it before and was reminded how difficult it is to dispense the proper amount. I was about to order a dispenser bottle with a flip up cap when...

    What are you eating?

My wife cooks the best SOS. My first meal in boot camp (Navy) in May of 1969. I like it better now than I did back then. FYI, SOS is short for Slop On a Shingle. That’s not what it was called in the military but I’m keepin’ it clean.
