    If the area is tight then hot damp towel with folex and a good wiping of that area should help though if you have space to get tools in there then extract that length of belt lastly if its your personal vehicle and it hand you can always make a day and remove the seats, etc and go to town...

    Always try to remove such contamination while still fresh, try foaming the vehicle down with a bug and tar remover or APC, thus replace the layer of protection compromised with Carpro Hydro lastly you could always get a boars hair brush to help along on customer's vehicles though on your own...

    One of the reasons could be you don't want circulate acidic oil in the engine( depending on how long its hibernation time is) another reason might be cause over a certain period like a few months or so the engine gets dry and fluids tend to thicken or weaken which can harm the engine and its not...
