Need some help with an 02 Vette

Kinda looks like it was scuffed at some point or bad paint. If you hit it with FG400+pf2500 its most likely as good as it will get.

Flex + Rupes vs Ceramiclear Paint - How to detail a Mercedes-Benz SL 550

Great work as always:dblthumb2:! Really liked seeing the pictures of your rotary compounding process as I use the same method. Just find when I get in the compounding 'groove' it makes for quicker/easier work, when compared to buff wipe buff wipe panel by panel method.

One Step Polish-Use a Rotary or DA?

As of late my go to is rupes 21es with HD orbital orange polishing pad works amazing. I use rotary when a slightly deeper cut is needed. I also use Flex 3401 all depending on vehicle make, and level of correction needed!

Flex PE8 OR THE RUPES LHR 75E..

IMO I prefer the 75e. I have the big boy rotary with 2inch backing plate and extension for precision power and cut. I use the rupes mini pretty much every time I correct paint for 'edging' where I cant get into with my 3401 or 21es.

    Cutting down pads

I've done this a few times with 4' cyclo pads that were still good but became seperated. Basically traced a 3' pad onto 4' and used a razor blade and cut it out. Still works great on the GG mini. It's not a long term but you do get a few more details out of the pad.
